The Friends Rehabilitation Program Inc., which is one of the largest and oldest non-profit housing agencies in the City of Philadelphia, is looking for an experienced Property Manager. The Property Manager, under the direction of the Director of Property Management, must have the following experience and qualifications:
FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the occupancy and operation of FRP site, budgets, Social services and the well-being of the residents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by the Company.
? Full charge responsibility for the occupancy and operation of buildings, budgets, social services and the well-being of the residents.
? Responsible for all occupancy operations including the marketing and selection of residents; maintaining waiting lists; certification and re-certification of residents for subsidies; collecting rents; data entry into the computer; making bank deposits; preparing governmental, financial and occupancy reports; taking work orders; evictions; inspection of apartments upon move-ins, move-outs, and annually.
? Work with Social Service Coordinator and encourage, develop and supervise the implementation of social, educational, cultural activities to promote the health and welfare of the tenants.
? Provide or make referrals for case management, individual and group counseling as needed.
? Supervise support staff, including maintenance and janitorial staff to ensure a quality, well maintained facility and timely repairs with care and consideration of residents.
NECESSARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
? ARM or Bachelor?s degree with two years experience in property management with three years experience as a manager or equivalent combination of experience.
? Computer experience required.
