Orleans Technical Institute Recruiting Out-of-School Youth for Property Maintenance/GED Program
Orleans Technical Institute, a program of JEVS Human Services located at 2770 Red Lion Road in Northeast Philadelphia, is now recruiting out-of-school youth ages 18 – 21 for a free government funded 15 week Property Maintenance/GED program starting in late September. This program teaches basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electricity. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Applicants must be Philadelphia residents who are mature and motivated.
