Posted by on March 3, 2006
Hi COMM-ORG,
I am very pleased to announce the availability of:
Promising Practices in Revenue Generation for Community Organizing
by Sandy O’Donnell, Jane Beckett, and Jean Rudd
We have had a number of on-list discussions about funding for community organizing. Here is a report on how organizing is funded, and how funding for organizing can be improved.
You can find Sandy, Jane, and Jean’s work at the COMM-ORG “Papers” page, in the 2005 section:
http://comm-org.wisc.edu/papers.htm
I hope that this work inspires some discussion. Authors contribute writing to COMM-ORG in the hopes of getting comments, so please feel welcomed to contact Sandy et al. directly, or discuss their work through the list.
Thanks so much to Sandy, Jane, and Jean for contributing this work.

moderator/editor, COMM-ORG
