Philadelphia Education Fund – Project Manager
The Philadelphia Education Fund seeks a Project Manager to lead a collaborative for the On-Track to Graduation Project, a “research into practice” initiative that combines an early warning system with whole school reform, national service, and integrated student supports to prepare all students for success in high school and beyond.
The Project Manager is the school-based point person for this collaborative project with School District of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Education Fund, Johns Hopkins University, City Year, and Communities in Schools. This individual will be onsite four days a week and will serve as the primary liaison between collaborative members and the school staff and will facilitate and organize collaborative activities at the school.
Candidates should have a minimum of eight years teaching experience and a minimum of four years of school-based leadership experience in an urban setting; a willingness to commit to the mission and intervention model; experience in group facilitation; ability to analyze data and facilitate its analysis by others; strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multi-task; and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Project Manager will start work on August 17th. Successful candidates may be asked to participate in an On Track to Graduation Summer Institute from July 20th 23rd.
