Percent for Art Project Manager
Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, City of Philadelphia
Energetic, highly-organized self-starter needed to serve as project manager and administrator for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the City’s Percent for Art projects. Must have project management experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, excellent research skills, persistence and a strong attention to detail. In addition, a strong eye for graphic design and layout is desirable. Position includes website posting and other social media work as well. Software knowledge requirements: Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, and three to five years progressively responsible experience in public art or related field. Demonstrated knowledge of the field of public art a must; familiarity with the principles and practices of architecture and construction is desirable. Salary: mid 40s with full benefits.
