The American College of Physicians (ACP), a prestigious medical membership association for doctors of internal medicine located in Philadelphia, is seeking a Program Administrator to manage various programs and grants within ACP’s Clinical Programs department.
The Program Administrator’s primary responsibility will be the management of ACP’s Well-Being and Professional Satisfaction Initiative, a multi-faceted effort that includes a task force, well-being champions, tools and resources, and an online presence. Key duties include:
Managing over 120 ACP Wellbeing Champions including recruitment, training and ongoing communication.
Providing staff support to the Well-Being and Professional Satisfaction Task Force (agendas, minutes, action items)
Engaging ACP members and the Champions through websites, articles, newsletters and other communication efforts consistent with goals and objectives of the program.
The Program Administrator may also manage other programs or program components including, but not limited to, the Patient Priorities Care grant and/or ACP’s High Value Care initiative.
A bachelor’s degree in education, health, social services, or related field is required, and candidates must have at least three years of demonstrated project management experience. Qualified candidates will possess strong organizational, writing and PC skills (Word, Excel, and Power Point), as well as excellent interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate will be creative, resourceful, and enjoy working in a team-based environment. Experience cultivating and maintaining positive relationships through a collaborative and service-oriented approach is a plus.
