From Spaces to Places: Neighborhood Action Plan for Project H.O.M.E.

Part of Urban Evolution: Planning for Better Neighborhoods, cosponsored
by Greensource and the Collaborative. (1.5 CEUs) Join Patrice Carroll,
USDA Forest Service; Anita Lager, Lager Raabe Skafte; Mark Keener, Brown
& Keener; and Carolyn Placke, Project H.O.M.E. for a panel discussion
regarding a project funded by the USDA Forest Service with natural
resources at its core. Learn about the plan to ‘green’ at least an acre
of land from the design team challenged to increase green space and tree
canopy without compromising urban form. The study area contains two
distinct neighborhoods, with separate identities and concerns.
