Consulting Opportunity for Project Development/Grant Writing

Senior Adults for Greater Education (S.A.G.E.), a not-for-profit organization located in Richboro, PA, is seeking a consultant or contractor with experience in project development and grant writing,  for the purpose of assistance with developing intergenerational projects to be implemented in K-12 grades, researching and identifying grant opportunities to fund projects, and preparing grant applications. The individual for firm should have relevant education and work experience including a bachelor’s degree in education or related field.  Experience working with intergenerational projects is desirable.

Expected time requirement: 5-10 hours per week

Scope of services:
•    Collaborate with SAGE’s Executive Director and board members in developing intergenerational projects for K-12 grades
•    Develop/select resources and materials for intergenerational projects
•    Research and identify potential grant opportunities for intergenerational projects
•    Write and edit grant proposals
•    Coordinate grant application submissions

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or related field, or equivalent experience required
•    Experience in project or curriculum development for grades K-12
•    Experience with grant proposal writing
•    Strong writing skills
