Panera Bread Foundation invites applications for programs serving children and youth
The Panera Bread Foundation envisions a world where young people can unlock their full potential and dare to dream—where opportunity and economic mobility are accessible and equitable for all.
The foundation’s grant program awards funding to nonprofit organizations that invest in underserved and at-risk children and youth, so they have the potential to become leaders in their communities. Programs focused on providing opportunities for youth to grow as leaders and gain access to education and career advancement are funded. Types of programs supported include college- and career-readiness, leadership and workforce development, mentorship, and skills building. Programs must benefit underserved or at-risk children and youth (ages 10 to 18) and serve children and youth who are historically underrepresented in our communities, including Black, Latinx, and Indigenous peoples.
Grants of between $25,000 and $150,000 will be awarded to recipients in early 2024.
To be eligible, applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations (and have been operating for at least 12 months), be rated on Charity Navigator or GuideStar, and the program site must be located within 25 miles of a USA Panera Bread bakery-cafe.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Panera Bread Foundation website.
Deadline: October 13, 2023
