WITH Foundation invites applications for programs serving adults with disabilities
The WITH Foundation aims to promote comprehensive health care for adults with developmental disabilities.
The foundation awards grants of up to $150,000 in support of programs that improve the delivery of health care to adult consumers with developmental disabilities and include at least one of the following: improve health practitioner competency through education and/or training programs; address the current inadequate reimbursement system; advance innovations in formal care coordination; enhance advocacy regarding the inadequacies of developmentally disabled care to advance systemic change; increase understanding of supported decision-making in healthcare settings; advance national efforts in digital health that support designers and developers to include the perspectives/experiences of the IDD community within the design process to create better technology for all; expand social policy research; and identify and overcome barriers to high-quality healthcare access.
Recognizing the pivotal role research plays in propelling positive change in the realm of disability health care, research-focused grants can be up to $250,000. Grants from WITH typically provide one year of support but may cover as much as three years to support programming that warrants extended funding.
Applicants must have tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. While applications from the San Francisco Bay Area may be given preferential consideration, WITH Foundation is a national grantmaker.
Letters of intent are due April 17, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. PT, and selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal due May 30, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. PT.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the WITH Foundation website.
