Program Officer for Sustainable Communities
Philadelphia LISC seeks a Program Officer to advance its Sustainable Communities Initiative (SCI) in the neighborhoods of West Philadelphia, Eastern North Philadelphia, and Kensington. The Program Officer will have a leadership role in facilitating the tools, resources, and technical assistance to advance comprehensive neighborhood plans of SCI community partners. S/he will work and coordinate closely with other Program Officers with expertise in Housing, Community Safety, Community Engagement, Creative Placemaking, Lending, and Economic Development. This person should be action-oriented and results-driven and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing collaborative environment. The position reports to the Deputy Director.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum 7 years’ experience in community development, economic development or other relevant field in diverse urban environments.
