Assists the Director; Talent Support Service in achieving programmatic effectiveness in the operational aspects while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state and local guidelines. Provides leadership for and directly participates in all operational phases for the Teacher Pathways program. Plans and implements new and innovative approaches to this work and will ensure all activities are implemented with fidelity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the Teacher Pathways program. Resolves escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Assists with contractual responsibility monitoring of both School District and provider roles and responsibilities in key aspects of contract compliance. Provides support in achieving programmatic effectiveness in the operational aspects while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state and local guidelines
Essential Functions
Teacher Pathways Specialty
- Implements the District’s vision around teacher pathways; uses the Teacher Residency model best practices to improve the broader student teacher and teacher fellow experiences.
- Coordinates with school leaders, mentor teachers, and partner staff on scheduling resident placement and other program needs; develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support Teacher Pathways.
- Designs and maintains data systems to track teacher residents, student teachers, teacher resident candidates and other critical information to maximize their chances of transitioning to the District.
- Designs support strategies for teacher pathway candidates in collaboration with other District offices to develop teachers’ skills and retain effective teacher residents.
- Supports the District’s talent pipeline through expanded and strengthened partnerships; leads District recruitment efforts for teacher pathway candidates and promotes partner opportunities throughout the year.
- Documents processes and standards for university partners sending residents and student teachers to train in the District.
- Participates in data driven strategic planning; assists with the collection of data and evaluation of the program’s effectiveness; identifies and recommends changes to the Teacher Pathways program as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Five years of full-time, paid, professional experience in project management or program implementation involving grants.
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of:
