Program Manager, Civic Programs, Full-time

Widener University has just posted a new full-time position for a program manager of civic programs. The person will be responsible for overseeing our civic events and scholarship programs. we are looking for a very detailed-oriented professional with a lot of spunk and initiative.

The Program Manager for Civic Engagement executes and implements civic engagement initiatives in Widener’s inaugural Center for Civic and Global Engagement (CCGE). The Civic Engagement Coordinator will oversee programming related to one-day service opportunities, civic scholarship programs, campus-wide events, relevant Living Learning Communities, and will provide training to enhance the development of students’ civic and global citizenship. It is instrumental in supporting the CCGE’s operations and also supports events and activities across functions including International Student Services, Study Abroad, Student Exchange, and Global Engagement. This position helps support the continuation of national prominence and strategic initiatives related to service and civic engagement.
