Program Director, Chester Upland Youth Soccer

Chester Upland Youth Soccer provides after-school and weekend soccer programming, mentorship and nutrition education for nearly 500 at-risk children in suburban Philadelphia.
We are hiring a Program Director to start Aug 3, 2020. The pay is $21,200/year and we will ask for a commitment through July 31. 2021.
Chester Upland Youth Soccer’s Program Director will be a coach-mentor for children and help manage many administrative elements of our program, including:
- serving as liaison to involved school principals and teachers
- coordinating volunteers and other paid coach-mentors
- helping with social media, marketing and fundraising activities
This job will require the employee to be physically at a Chester school four afternoons each week and five Saturday mornings in the fall and in the spring, but otherwise almost all of the work can be done remotely at the employee’s convenience. S/he must also be available to attend a training session in Philadelphia for five days which are currently tentatively scheduled for August 14-18.
