Program Development Coordinators, Center for Youth Development
Posted by on August 2, 2002
The Center for Youth Development (CYD) is once again looking to fill positions. For background information, you may or may not be aware that the former "After School Initiative" funded by the Mayor’s Children’s Investment Strategy merged with CYD in February, so we are now all one big unit here at United Way consisting of 27 staff once we are filled to capacity. In addition to merging, we changed the titles of staff who were once called "Youth Development Specialists" and "Program Analysts" to what are now called Program Development Coordinators. For those of you who are not aware, Howard Tucker and Lorraine McGirt are now Associate Unit Directors and Joanne Bursich has been promoted to Training and Technical Assistance Manager. Theresa Lake’s title is now Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator. We are also looking to hire a Database Assistant (Data Entry Clerk). At any rate, it’s all good, and I am writing because I need your help.
We are looking to fill 6 Program Development Coordinator positions, and the position of Database Assistant. Please refer appropriate candidates as you see fit. We are thrilled about our expanded unit of very talented individuals, and look forward to enhancing the unit even further by ensuring that our pool of staff are reflective of the diverse communities we serve.
Thanks for your help and support.
