Program Coordinator, Youth Violence Reduction Initiative, School District of Philadelphia

This role will work with the Office of School Safety to implement a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to reduce and prevent youth violence among students enrolled in the School District of Philadelphia. Oversees daily program operations within the designated school settings, carries out administrative tasks assigned by the project director, and coordinates and monitors the case management activities of the program participants.
Job Summary
Oversees school/community based or departmental programs and activities for the assigned office. Plans and implements new and innovative approaches for academic support or departmental operations through programmatic systems, intervention sequences, preventative activities or multi-disciplinary safety and multi-tiered systems of support for schools. Ensures all programmatic activities are implemented with fidelity and that the programs are in compliance with School District policies and procedures and grant stipulations or Act 89 and Title I and II guidelines.
