General Summary:
The Program Coordinator will report to the Director of Service-Learning and assist in all activities of the Office of Service Learning. This position will serve to oversee day-to-day activities, facilitate and operationalize Stockton Faculty/Staff, Students and Community Partner Organizations that work in partnership with the Office of Service-Learning. This position is responsible for performing basic professional functions using established policies, procedures, precedent and guidelines; does related work as required.
The Program Coordinator will report to the Director of Service-Learning on a regular basis concerning:
- Progress on assignments regarding BANNER, School Dude, OspreyHub, BWBRS and additional systems.
- Processes 19, W4, TES forms in addition to other forms related to hiring new student and part-time staff
- Consults with the Director regarding issues and concerns in the course of duties.
- Prepares clear, technically sound, accurate, and informative reports containing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Prepares correspondence in the course of official duties to the Director and the community.
- Serves as the primary processor of financial operations including Purchasing, Receiving and Payroll
Track financial responsibilities: including multiple accounts, the Civic Engagement Mini-Grants, Matching Grants for campus/off-campus, state and national awards.
Assist, implement and maintain the office management including:
- Schedules for staff meetings, trainings, programs, events and activities for student/part-time staff
- Establishes liaison and maintains cooperative working relationships with other staff, units and organizations whose functions impact on assigned responsibilities
- Assists in the development and implementation of appropriate training programs for student, staff, faculty and community
- Assign and monitor the work of part-time, and/or student workers as required
- Monitor the work of students, identifies problem areas and take steps necessary to effect improvement Service-Learning Student Worker Timesheets and Records (including BWBRS, BaseCamp, Give Pulse)
- Support in creating reports and marketing materials for digital and print media for the office Assist in compiling critical information, organizing and managing partnerships and events:
- Make recommendations concerning eligibility and participation in service-learning programs and special events to students, faculty/staff and community partners
- Support cooperative relationships with other Stockton Offices/Programs that impact or overlap with the operation of Service-Learning
- Processes affiliation agreements and additional paperwork for general counsel and risk management
- Represent and participate in meetings, events, conferences and seminars for the office as required
