The School of Social Policy & Practice seeks a professional higher education program coordinator to join the Nonprofit Leadership (NPL) Master’s Degree Program at the School of Social Policy & Practice. The coordinator will support faculty and instructors as they develop and update courses and manage the development of programming for NPL. This includes assisting in the day-to-day activities of the NPL Program and working closely with the program’s Administrative Director on program needs, providing resources to students and faculty, and assisting with expansion of the program’s reach within Penn and beyond. Specifically, this coordinator manages our Leadership Practicum which places students with area nonprofits for internships and mentoring.

We are looking for progressive experience in higher education program coordination, especially course development, instructional support for academia, or a related training capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience, ability to work effectively with instructors and graduate students and working professional learners, knowledge of the latest in instructional pedagogies and service-learning and experiential education, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in small teams and independently, and superb attention to detail and customer service skills.

Salary will be around $45,000 and it is a full-time position with benefits.

We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s and a couple years of experience in higher ed, especially someone interested in considering a master’s.
