Program Coordinator, Neighborhood Land Power Project – Nov 21
Posted by Neighborhood Land Power Project (NLPP) on November 11, 2025
Founded in 1989 as Urban Tree Connection, the Neighborhood Land Power Project (NLPP) is a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating progressive community leadership through food sovereignty and land justice. In partnership with our neighbors, we steward community gardens and green spaces across Haddington that nourish sustainable food production, foster social and ecological well-being, and build lasting community power.
The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in weaving together key initiatives and ensuring alignment across NLPP’s programs. Acting as a central bridge between the organization and the community, this person helps cultivate cohesive, effective, and neighbor-centered efforts that advance NLPP’s mission.
This is a primarily remote position, with required in-person participation in meetings, programs, and community events. The successful candidate must be able to commute to sites across West Philadelphia and occasionally to other areas within the city.
Role Expectations:
- Design and carry out grant-funded projects that advance NLPP’s urban farming and land justice goals, in close collaboration with staff and community partners
- Coordinate and manage outreach events and activities
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Application deadline is November 21, 2025.
