Program Coordinator (Full-Time), Rutgers Law School

The Program Coordinator II/ Camden Law Clinic is the primary point of contact for initial inquiries for legal services for the Camden Law Clinic, an in-house public interest law firm operated by Rutgers Law School in Camden.  The position performs case intake and provides administrative support for the attorneys working and teaching in the Clinic.

The position works closely with other administrative staff and students to ensure timely and effective management of case-related and administrative functions. This position will assist in some case-related activities including receiving requests for services from the public; performing intake and communicating with attorneys regarding requests for assistance; and following up with callers to notify them of the status of the request for services and/or make appropriate referrals. The position provides case-related support, including assistance with documentation preparation and filing, assistance with mailings, file maintenance and correspondence. The position will also enter data into and maintain the case management system used by the Clinic. The position will conduct basic research, screen cases for internal conflicts, and collect and maintain information about community agencies and other legal service providers. The position will also assist in the creation of program related materials and reports for grants and handle expense reports and reimbursements. The position must maintain familiarity with court rules and legal process. Spanish fluency is required.
