Program Coordinator. Full Time with benefits.
Will work with the Director of Education to enhance the effective delivery of programs that provide educators and young people with the skills, knowledge and resources to solve local environmental problems through community action projects. Will conduct professional development workshops for educators, provide ongoing guidance and support to educators, research environmental resources, and monitor program implementation. Will visit schools in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley region. Reports to the Director of Education
Requirements: Minimum of Bachelors Degree, computer and internet literacy, experience working with educators and youth. Excellent interpersonal skills, writing and public speaking skills, networking and organizational skills. Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member, be flexible in work schedule (some evening and weekend work required). Must have the means and willingness to travel locally and provide own transportation for all work-related activity. Experience in environmental education and familiarity with academic standards preferred.
