Position/Job Title: Program Associate, Center for Responsible Funding

Location: 924 Cherry Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Supervisor: Carole Boughter, Executive Director

The Center for Responsible Funding (CRF) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to expand the fundraising capacity and funding base of nonprofit organizations working for social and economic justice.

Summary: Three quarter time position (30 hours/week) providing administrative and program support for the Center for Responsible Funding (including work with the City of Philadelphia Employees? Combined Campaign and the Center?s Academy For Fundraising Training (TAFFT).

Specific Areas of Work:

? Work closely with campaign volunteers under the direction of the City Campaign Coordinator
? Assist in the programmatic coordination of City Campaign, TAFFT and other CRF initiatives and special events
? Assist City Campaign Coordinator, TAFFT Director of Fundraising Training, and Director of Policy and Community Initiatives, in the development of promotional activities, events production, and program materials
? Provide written reports and evaluative assessments related to TAFFT with TAFFT staff and Executive Director
? Interact with a broad cross-section of grassroots non-profits and CRF volunteers
? Assist Executive Director in researching grant prospects and selective grantwriting
? Coordinate correspondence and assist staff with mass mailings and other administrative work
? Perform other duties as assigned.

The search will remain open until a successful candidate is identified. However, the Center anticipates that work will begin February 2004.

Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits are pro-rated. CRF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
