Program Announced: 2024 CUMU Conference – Oct 20-23

The program for the 2024 Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU) Conference, Beyond Boundaries, has been announced. The conference will take place October 20-23, 2024, in Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN.
This year’s theme—Beyond Boundaries—elevates our vision that urban higher education transcends campus borders, expanding affordable access, fostering engaged citizenship, exploring interdisciplinary solutions, and building bridges to enhance the well-being of our students and communities locally, regionally, and globally.
About the Program
This year’s program includes 100+ presentations—action-oriented and grounded in scholarship—along with opportunities to network. A mix of traditional and dynamic formats affords participants multiple methods to access and engage with innovative ideas. Connect, learn, and collaborate on topics like anchor work, belonging, equity, democracy, impact, K-16 partnerships, and social and economic mobility.
