Job description
Reports To: Executive Director
Type: Must establish primary residence in the City of Philadelphia within six months of employment
Summary
The mission of the Mayor’s Fund is to advance the Mayor’s goals through leveraging public-private partnerships for the benefit of the people of Philadelphia. This position would be a member of a team that is working to develop a new strategic approach to The Fund’s work.
The Program & Administrative Officer will be responsible for the operational success of The Fund ensuring seamless program delivery and quality control and evaluation. There are several key areas that will fall within the sphere of the Program & Administrative Officer:
Program Role
Develop and manage programs: Duties include thinking strategically about program content and related policy issues, program administration, attracting new funders and donors to The Fund, marketing and communications, budgeting and board relations.
Manage Public Relations & Marketing: Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies public relations, design & marketing activities. This work includes producing the annual report, developing & staging events, maintaining and updating the website (http://www.mayorsfundphila.org) and the twitter account.
Administrative Role
- Provide high level executive support to the Board
- Manage administration for contracts & grants
- Manage employee benefits
