A Reentry Training Series
This 4-week training series starts January 12, 2018
All classes meet on Fridays from 10:30 am—12:30 pm

Module 2 — Professional Presentations
[Introduction to PowerPoint] Week 1
Friday, January 12th| 10:30am-12:30pm
Have a basic understanding of MS PowerPoint, understanding of how and why PPT is used during presentations and have a basic understanding of a presentation.
[“How to” about Presentations ] Week 2
Friday, January 19th| 10:30am-12:30pm
Have an understanding of what a bad presentation looks like, be able to create slides and add content, learn more about formatting and editing their PowerPoint and learn how to use PowerPoint during an oral presentation.
[Storytelling] Week 3
Friday, January 26th| 10:30am-12:30pm
Learn how storytelling is used to create an effective presentation, Improve their first project with media/refined information and how to make slides based around verbal content.
[Navigating PowerPoint ] Week 4
Friday, February 2nd| 10:30am-12:30pm
Continue to learn how storytelling is used to create an effective PowerPoint and feel more comfortable using MS PowerPoint.
