Virtual Event: PD Opportunity: Aligning High School & College Rubrics – Mar 18
Posted by Philadelphia Education Fund on February 22, 2022
The Philadelphia Education Fund is pleased to invite you to a professional development session facilitated by our Postsecondary Success Program Fellows. The PPSP Fellows are a team of secondary and postsecondary educators with a special interest in aligning teaching and learning across the high school and college levels. This free opportunity will provide a space for collaboration around aligning high school and college rubrics to support students in effectively engaging with evidence as they transition from the secondary to postsecondary classroom.
Who: high school and college educators from all content areas
When: Friday, March 18th, 12-2pm (note that this is a School District of Philadelphia professional development half day)
What: As with the PPSP Fellow’s signature Instructional Rounds events, this session will be anchored in a non-evaluative glimpse into real classrooms. Rubrics submitted by local high school and college educators from a range of course levels and content areas will serve as a starting point for aligning practices and expectations across the secondary and postsecondary levels.
Please register by Friday, March 11.
