NCTM Accepting Applications for Professional Development Scholarship
The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics is accepting applications from individual math teachers for its Professional Development Scholarship Emphasizing History, Number Theory, and Discrete Mathematics.
In 2019-20, a scholarship of up $3,000 will be awarded to an individual currently teaching mathematics at the grade 6-12 level.
To be eligible, applicants must be a current full individual or e-member of NCTM; have taught school mathematics for at least three years; and intend to remain in teaching. All activities must be completed by August 31, 2020.
