Sunday, October 31 – Wednesday, November 3, 2004
Lowell Bennion Community Service Center
University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah
The registration deadline is September 1, 2004. Register early, space is limited. FOR CAMPUS COMPACT MEMBERS ONLY.
This professional development retreat seeks to further Campus Compact’s commitment to building a community of practitioners that celebrates, reflects, challenges, and supports the vast amount of service and civic engagement work within the higher education community.
Participants in this unique gathering will have the opportunity to learn a variety of frameworks and models through which people approach their work. Share experiences on working effectively with important stakeholders such as faculty, student leaders, community partners, and administrators. Participants will also have the opportunity to craft the program for future retreats and recommend additional ways Campus Compact can continue to support this work.
**This retreat occurs over the presidential election so be sure to make arrangements for an absentee ballot. We will be offering election coverage and an optional morning discussion.
To find a draft agenda and more information about the retreat, visit http://www.compact.org/csds/CSD_retreat.html. Please note that this retreat is not geared toward advanced practitioners.
