Campus Compact is a national coalition of colleges and universities committed to the public purposes of higher education. As the only national higher education association dedicated solely to higher education civic and community engagement, Campus Compact enables higher education institutions to develop students’ citizenship skills and forge effective community partnerships. Our resources support senior administrators, faculty, staff, and students as they pursue community-based teaching, scholarship, and action in the service of positive change.

The Professional Development Manager position is an opportunity to help Campus Compact extend its support for civic and community engagement practitioners seeking to enhance their skills, knowledge, and critical commitments in ways that emphasize equity and yield better outcomes for students, institutions, and communities.

This position reports to and works on a day-to-day basis with the Director of Institutional Capacity Building and interacts with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders from across the higher education sector.

Campus Compact seeks to continue to develop and implement sound organizational practices that allow our staff, members, and partners to innovate and advance our mission. This is a tremendous opportunity for a community engagement professional to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a well-respected, high-impact national organization.

Campus Compact is headquartered in Boston, MA with a national, geographically distributed staff. This position is fully remote.
