Adult literacy agency in Philadelphia seeks a part-time Professional Development Center Assistant to support professional development and training activities.
Candidate should show the ability to assist in maintaining ongoing communications and organizing and coordinating professional development activities; assist in working with professional development trainers in preparing materials for trainings and supporting the trainer in classroom set up, equipment needs and necessary paperwork; assist in the creation of course outlines.
High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor?s Degree preferred. Experience in working with computer programs required including word processing, databases and spreadsheet systems, facility with e-mail and the Internet, and the ability to work well in team situations. Driver?s license and ability to travel required. Knowledge of the Philadelphia literacy community preferred.
