Building a Framework for the Future: A Wallace Symposium on Out of School Time
The Wallace Foundation is committed to strengthening cities’ out of school time systems to provide meaningful high-quality, sustainable programs to as many children as possible, particularly those from low and moderate-income families. To probe questions facing the field, the Foundation invited OST practitioners, funders, advocates and policy makers to a symposium – “Building a Framework for the Future” — earlier this year to help shape a more productive and fact-based national conversation on the key issues of quality and sustainability. The key findings of the day were captured in a 10-minute video now available for viewing. The Wallace Foundation encourages you to log on to its website http://www.wallacefoundation.org to view or download the proceedings. Wallace Foundation executives are also available to answer questions at 212-251-9824.
