Printing without a Press

Printmaking is a rich and versatile medium that can ignite your students’ imagination and creativity. In this workshop, you’ll discover several printmaking techniques that do not require a press and can be easily incorporated into any classroom environment. You’ll explore the basic methods and techniques of the highly expressive monoprint process, starting with rolling ink onto Gelli plates, and using simple stencils to make your marks.
