Reminder: President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, deadline 9/23/08
Applications for the 2008 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll are now being accepted at http://www.nationalservice.gov/honorroll. The Honor Roll is a federal recognition program for institutions of higher education that support meaningful student community service. The deadline for applications is September 23, 2008.
Winners of the 2008 Presidential Awards will be announced at the annual meeting of the American Council on Education (ACE) on February 9, 2008, in Washington, DC. Full details and the application form are available at http://www.nationalservice.gov/honorroll.
In the past, the vast majority of colleges and universities named to the Honor Roll have been Campus Compact members. We encourage all of our member campuses to apply.
