NPower’s July training calendar is now available. You can click here to view our on-line calendar (http://www.npowerpa.org/training/calendar/Calendar.asp) and/or view the attached calendar in PDF format.

NPower PA?s pick of the month is:

Preparing for your Audit ? The IT Perspective
A.K.A. IC for IT (Internal Controls for Information Technology)

Data is the lifeblood of your organization. From your financial records to you client files to your email correspondence, your operation is dependent on your IT infrastructure. This increased dependency, along with more scrutiny of internal controls from the accounting profession and the government (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley; SAS #99) means it is time to make sure you have the adequate ?IC for IT.?

This workshop is being taught by NPower PA and Your Part-Time Controller (provider of accounting and financial services to nonprofits (http://www.yptc.com/)).

Come and find out if your organization is prepared. This half-day workshop will be held Wednesday July 28th from 1:00 -4:30 at NPower PA.

Who should take this class? Executive Directors, Board members, IT managers (and accidental techies), CFO?s and Controllers.

Register on-line at http://www.npowerpa.org/training/calendar/Calendar.asp or call 215-557-1559 for this and other NPower trainings.
