Premeds of Color service scholarship

Premeds of Color offers a scholarship to students nationwide who develop a community service project plan that impacts underserved communities. The scholarship is one (1) $500 scholarship for continuing students currently enrolled in a four-year university or community college.
Eligibility
* Student must be an underrepresented minority or come from a disadvantaged socioeconomic background.
* Student must demonstrate a commitment of service to their community.
* Student must demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a career in medicine.
* Student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher at their school by the end of Winter 2004 term.
Deadline
The completed application must be postmarked by Thursday, July 1, 2004.
