Pre-school – Day Care Teacher

Youth Service, Inc. a private non-profit child welfare agency has a full time Lead Teacher opening at the Baring House Crisis Nursery located in West Philadelphia.   This position is responsible for developing, planning and leading the curriculum for children ages 2-5 years old.  Other responsibilities include working closely with the supervisor in the operations of the crisis nursery program.   Qualified candidates must have either a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or associated field of study or an Associate Degree with two years preschool experience.   Candidates must have the ability to respect and appreciate cultural background and heritage identity of persons served.  Good written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy are required.  Valid driver’s license preferred.   For consideration, resumes can be submitted to jobs@ysiphila.org or faxed to (215)222-2352.    Youth Service, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
