2013-14 PA Pre-K Counts/Head Start Supplemental Advisory Applications Invitation
Applications are now being accepted for participation on the 2013-14 PA Pre-K Counts/Head Start Supplemental Advisory Committee. Those who possess practical program content knowledge and skills that will strengthen and support the PA Pre-K Counts and Head Start Supplemental initiatives are encouraged to apply. Committee members will reflect diverse geographic regions of the state and have a range of attributes, collective skills, and experiences that will enable the Committee to achieve its goals.
PA Pre-K Counts/Head Start Supplemental is a statewide work group whose purpose is to advise OCDEL about the PA Pre-K Counts/Head Start Supplemental programs. The Advisory Committee offers insight by providing feedback and representing Pre-K Counts and Head Start provider concerns and assists in the development of program tools and resources to strengthen the quality of the programs. Individuals appointed to the Advisory Committee serve a three-year term of service which includes a minimum of 3 annual committee meetings, conference calls and emails.
Applications are due no later than June 15, 2013 for the 2013-14 Advisory year. Additional information on responsibilities and requirements including the application itself can be found within on the PA Key website.
