Practicum Partnership Program Adoption Initiative RFP Now Available
As the population of the United States grows increasingly older, so does the need to create "aging-savvy" leaders in the field of social work. Funded by the John A. Hartford Foundation, the aim of this program is to enhance field practicum experiences for Master’s in Social Work (MSW) students going into the field of aging, and simultaneously to establish/reinforce dynamic partnerships between universities or colleges and local community agencies.
Applications for the first of three rounds of funding are due June 1, 2005. All MSW programs that are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education may apply.
