March 24 Webinar — Poverty, Health Equity, and Young Children: Making the Link Between Early Childhood Systems Building and Poverty Policy
Experts across the political spectrum have recently focused their attention on the importance of addressing poverty in the earliest years of life. The Learning Collaborative on Health Equity and Young Children will host a webinar on child poverty in the United States and why poverty experts are focusing in on families and young children. Speakers include Charles Bruner of the Child and Family Policy Center; Sherri Killins, director of state systems alignment and integration for the BUILD Initiative; Maxine Hayes, former state health officer for the Washington State Department of Health; and John Lawrence Aber, professor at New York University.
