Poverty and the Justice System: A Public Forum with Adam Foss
Posted by United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey on October 30, 2018
Please join United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey for a special event, hosted by Arch Street Presbyterian.
United Way is excited to welcome national expert Adam Foss from Prosecutor Impact (view Adam’s Ted Talk here) as a guest presenter.
As we work toward ending intergenerational poverty in our region, the justice system profoundly affects the lives of those who are touched by it. Adam is a prosecutor and an advocate of justice reform. He is currently in Philadelphia to pilot a program in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, which involves educational reform for prosecutors.
Please join us for an intellectually stimulating conversation about how the justice system impacts community safety and health.
