Possibility Project: conflict resolution
Posted by on August 20, 2004
Greater Philadelphia Cares & Woodrock Partner to Present The Possibility Project In his book, ?The Art of Possibility?, conductor, teacher, and author, Ben Zander tells us that there are three ways a person can respond in the face of adversity: resignation, anger, or possibility. Inspired by this message, The Possibility Project works with youth to embrace the idea of possibility in situations where anger and resignation may seem like easier choices. Volunteers will train youth in conflict resolution, using creative expression projects that include dramatherapy, art therapy, and mediation skills. Program begins in September.
