PolicyLab releases Evidence to Action brief
Posted by on March 11, 2013
PolicyLab at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a center to bridge research, practice, and policy, released its latest Evidence to Action brief, “Evaluation of Maternal and Child Home Visitation Programs: Lessons from Pennsylvania,” which can be accessed through this link, http://policylab.us/images/pdf/PolicyLab_E2A_NFP_and_evaluation_Final.pdf
This brief is part of PolicyLab’s ongoing work in maternal and child home visitation program evaluation. Specifically, it draws on lessons learned through our evaluation of the Pennsylvania Nurse-Family Partnership, and presents key concepts and recommendations for public health program evaluation. PolicyLab recognizes the increased importance of evaluation as many maternal and child home visitation programs scale up under the Affordable Care Act, and it is our hope that this brief can help home visitation program administrators plan real-world evaluations.
A PDF copy of the brief, along with an overview of its content, can be found here, http://policylab.us/index.php/publications/evidence-to-action/331-evaluation-of-maternal-and-child-home-visitation-programs.html
