Policy Update on TANF

In conjunction with the Philadelphia Welfare Coalition, Community Legal Services (CLS), PathWays PA, Phila. Citizens for Children and Youth (PCCY), and United Way of Southeastern PA (UWSEPA), invites those who work with TANF clients to a Policy Update. Come to learn about:
– New rules and the Family Start program for pregnant and/or newly parenting TANF clients, /from Robert Carr, PWDC, and NannetteCorchado, Maternity Care Coalition;
– PCAO’s new Employment and Training Guide, from representatives from the Phila. CAO and PWDC;
– COMPASS: DPW’s online tool to access social services, from Michael Ruane, PA Dept. of Public Welfare.
When: Tuesday, Nov. 9th. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m.
Program will run promptly from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Where: United Way, 7 Ben Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia
