Policy Tracker Allows Safety Net Comparisons across All 50 States
The National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP) launched an updated edition of its 50-State Policy Tracker, an online tool that allows users to compare safety net programs among states. NCCP says the tool reveals striking variation among states, showing that low-income working families are often deeply affected by their state of residence. The Policy Tracker includes state-level data for child care subsidies, the EITC, family and medical leave, Medicaid, and other social programs. Click here to access the Policy Tracker.
