Policy Coordinator
The Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC), a citywide association of over 80 CDCs and other organizations working to rebuild communities and revitalize neighborhoods, seeks an experienced candidate to coordinate its policy, advocacy, and public education activities. The policy coordinator will monitor, analyze and report on policies, programs and legislation impacting CDC efforts; develop and implement strategies to preserve and increase resources for housing and neighborhood economic development activities; expand the involvement of CDCs and allies in advocacy efforts; and conduct outreach to public officials and media. Five years experience in community development/ organizing or related field required. Excellent communication and computer skills. Salary low to mid 40s with competitive benefits.
