Points of Light Youth Leadership Institute
Train-the-Trainer Seminar
August 1-3, 2005 in Washington, DC
Hosted in conjunction with the 2005 National Conference on Volunteering and Service
The Points of Light Youth Leadership Institute is a state-of-the-art training program designed to teach leadership and community service skills to high school-age youth. This national training seminar certifies participants to implement this unique service and leadership curriculum that equips young people to make meaningful contributions to their communities and begin a life-long journey of leadership and service. Participants will become certified to conduct our unique program that provides youth with:
? A broad array of leadership skills
? The ability and desire to contribute to their communities through meaningful service
? An understanding of how to apply leadership skills to design and implement community service projects
The registration fee is $495 and includes all program materials and breakfast and lunch each day.
