Podcast: Making Waves: Youth Leaders in Environmental Action
Posted by National Youth Leadership Council on August 8, 2023
The Power of Young People podcast is perfect for youth who want to change the world and for adults who want to foster youth innovation and imagination through real-world education. Youth listeners gain a connection to other young people who are passionate about making the world a better place by addressing issues like climate change, education equity, poverty, mental health, and more. Adult listeners are inspired by stories of youth as change agents and gain practical advice on how to partner with youth and how to incorporate service-learning into their classrooms, afterschool programs or homes.
Meet Kean Dao, a remarkable youth leader and co-founder of the Environmental Drones & Litter Locator application. Kean shares his journey with Love a Sea Turtle (LAST), a nonprofit organization focused on youth leadership and environmental education.
