Placement Specialist, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania

Matchmakers needed! As a Placement Specialist, you’ll help interested girls find troops and match potential volunteers with girls waiting for a troop — helping to ensure that the Girl Scouts experience is open to everyone!
The Placement Specialist manages and follows up with leads in order to convert potential girl and adult members. This is a highly cross-functional role that relies on great communication skills, technological savvy, and a willingness to use data to drive work. Using daily reports of incoming leads, the Placement Specialist works with leaders and volunteers, as well as Recruitment Specialists, to grow and start new troops within a defined geographic area.

Key Performance Objectives:
Lead Conversion:
- Manage leads and tasks in Salesforce
- Follow up on leads to close and move through conversion by phone calls, emails, etc.
- Work with Recruitment Specialists to identify high need/high opportunity areas for girls and adults
- Meet conversion goals (percent converted, time to close lead, and quality experience through conversion)
Placement and Volunteer Enrollment:
- Coordinate the placement of registered girls into appropriate troops or pathways
- Coordinate the placement of registered adults into appropriate positions, communicating with them through the process
Data Management:
- Maintain updated contact tracking records
- Prepare and view reports and assess gaps
- Respond to system-created tasks
- Responsible for internal processing with other departments to ensure smooth registration and clearance processes and effective troubleshooting/problem resolution as necessary
- Monitor renewals, including Early Bird registration and renewals Support council, regional and functional efforts
