Join the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and nearly 400 public health professionals, policymakers, scholars, and community-based activists at this year’s PLACE MATTERS National Health Equity Conference on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, in Washington, DC. PLACE MATTERS: Exploring the Intersections of Health and Economic Justice will feature the Joint Center’s PLACE MATTERS initiative, which seeks to build the capacity of leaders around the country who are working to eliminate racial and ethnic health inequities and advance a health equity agenda.
