Pivoting to Virtual Volunteering – Jun 25
Posted by PHENND on June 9, 2020
Join PHENND and our campus partners for an open brainstorming conversation about how to transform your organization’s traditional face-to-face volunteer opportunities into virtual ones.
While no one can predict the future, it seems clear that even if colleges have students on campus in the Fall, it will probably not be a total return to usual. Yet, our campuses and our students want to remain engaged with their nonprofit and community-based partners. But not all partners have figured out how to make use of these resources in a virtual environment.
Not every organization can pivot (or pivot entirely) to virtual volunteering, but we are interested in exploring what that might look like for those who can.
Join us to think creatively about what that might look like for your organization. We are hosting this call for both the general PHENND network, but also for our Next Steps AmeriCorps program which will be seeking to place members in part-time service (~8-10 hours/week) in the Fall.
